Dr. Theresa M. (Guinan) Hood earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences in 2006 and Master of Physical Therapy in 2007, both from the University of Scranton. She completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2014.
Theresa has over 10 years of experience in the outpatient setting, with special interests in sports-related injuries and joint replacements. Theresa is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, including the orthopedic and sports sections, and the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association. Theresa has taken numerous continuing education courses to expand her knowledge and clinical skills in orthopedics, manual therapy and sports performance. She has also been certified in the LSVT BIG program for patients with Parkinson Disease.
Theresa grew up in Northeast Philadelphia and enjoys treating patients close to where she grew up and lives. Outside of work she enjoys spending much of her time with her family, husband Chris, two very active toddlers Macie and Jake, can’t forget the dog, Tully, and watching sports.
